Woodlawn Restorative Justice Hub is a unifying force, drawing across the Chicago community to engage young leaders in long-term Leadership Development, Violence Prevention, and Peace Building. At the Woodlawn Restorative Justice Hub, we adopt a holistic approach to youth development, recognizing the intrinsic link between Youth Development and Violence Prevention. We support those most impacted by violence with a holistic approach of Healing, Economic Empowerment, and Civic Engagement. 

Our Theme for Giving Tuesday is Embracing Our Humanity

This theme is a reflection of the trauma and drama that our community, especially our young leaders, encounter daily. Life presents us with challenges, obstacles, and opportunities, and even on our best days, our emotions can take us by surprise. 

Our mission is to address these issues comprehensively, offering support and resilience-building to let our youth know that it's okay not to be okay sometimes. You can help our vision of peace become a reality by supporting us our 2024 Giving Tuesday Campaign!

Your donations will help us expand Young Leaders for Peace Program (YLPP) to 7 cohorts a year, serving 15 participants per cohort and providing year-round engagement opportunities for participants

Help us reach more youth in our community with programming focusing on behavioral and mental health, civil engagement, leadership skills, restorative justice, economic employment, and more!
