Women Who Code

The mission of Women Who Code (WWCode) is to empower diverse women to excel in technology careers. Our vision is a tech industry where diverse women and historically excluded people thrive at every level. 

WWCode is the world’s largest, most active community supporting diverse women technologists. Our global community comprises 360,000 diverse technical professionals in 147 countries with 81 active local communities. The organization fosters a global community that provides tools, resources, and networking opportunities to help technologists sustain and grow their careers. 

WWCode is committed to keeping our resources accessible, regardless of financial circumstances. Thanks to the generous support of donors and partners, WWCode membership is free and offers access to live and on-demand training, hands-on leadership opportunities, mentorship, scholarships, diverse job prospects, and more. 

When you give to WWCode, you are investing in the success of real people who benefit from the education and support we can provide. When we are able to help women stay in technology, their lifetime earnings increase by $1.7 million USD ($1.45 million EUR). Based on those numbers, if 50% of our community stayed in their tech roles, it would add nearly $270 billion dollars of wealth for diverse women and their families globally.
