WRCNU provides people throughout Northern Utah with a place to bring wildlife that has been injured, orphaned, displaced, or is otherwise in need of assistance. Our goal is to rehabilitate and then release animals back into their natural habitat. We are state and federally licensed but receive no funding from either, only from the generous donations of people like you.

In conjunction with rehabilitation, we provide community education as a major component of our conservation program. Through our direct interaction with concerned citizens and injured wildlife, we gather/research information, develop educational programs and then present/distribute them to the public. By developing a better understanding and appreciation of wildlife, habitat and the impact people have on both, we provide the knowledge to make informed decisions to help make our world a better place for people, wildlife and their natural surroundings.

In addition to educating the public, we provide opportunities for job skills/experience and worksite training to Dept. of Workforce Services Associates, unpaid internships, court directed community service, volunteers and students (age 13 to adult) providing them with community volunteer opportunities and real-world job skills.
