Utah Food Allergy Network Inc

UFAN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and is operated by volunteers.

Our mission is to provide outreach to the newly diagnosed and the community at large, offering support, promoting education, building awareness of the severity of food allergies and anaphylaxis, and advocating for positive change.

Over 100,000 Utahns have food allergies, including 32,000 children under the age of 18 years. 1 in 25 Utah students has a food allergy! 

Recent activities by the Utah Food Allergy Network include:

• Efforts to stock schools with non student-specific, life-saving epinephrine devices
• Organizing food-free holiday events such as a Halloween trunk or treat and Easter egg hunt
• Cub Scout Food Allergy Awareness Patch
• Walk for food allergies
• Presentations to Utah school nurses
• Annual Food Allergy conference.
