Twin County Humane Society

The Twin County Humane Society (TCHS) seeks to enhance the lives of animals in Carroll and Grayson Counties and the City of Galax. All donations are used for animals in our local area.

We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit humane society dedicated to providing spay/neuter assistance, shelter and veterinary care assistance, community education and outreach, and promoting the compassionate care and treatment of animals in our area. We conduct the only trap-neuter-return program in the region, assist pet owners with the cost of spay and neuter surgeries and emergency veterinary medical care as funds allow. We help with rehoming of animals, providing foster homes and veterinary care when needed until they can be adopted or transferred to a rescue. And we provide pet food assistance to our community cat caretakers and people in need.

Everything we are able to do is through the generous donations of our supporters and the tireless efforts of our volunteers.
