That’s what we like to hear. Through our educational programs, our Website, blog, and the TFI Update newsletter, we work to inform and engage Idahoans in the political process. It isn’t easy to be positive about the leadership of a state that is at or near the bottom of  list of states in such key areas as quality of education, access to health care, restrictions on womens health choices, child poverty, and legal protection for LGBT people, and among the worst in the nation in pay equality for women, the percentage of Idaho workers receiving the lowest minimum wage in the nation, and the percentage of high school graduates who go on to higher education.

TransForm Idaho is not a one-issue group. We stand with and work with many social justice organizations and like-minded groups, as well as individuals, in our positive effort to support and engage elected officials on behalf of government that is more transparent, responsive, and responsible. Many Idahoans want to act in meaningful ways to change things for the better. Individuals and organizations can rely upon TransForm Idaho to support such goals and help provide the information, tools, and contacts to do this. We work with individuals as well as other organizations to develop and use advocacy skills and keep the conversation positive. We look forward to your continued support and involvement in our fourth year of helping develop hopeful, informed, actively engaged citizens in the democratic process, especially in this election year.

 

We are pleased and proud to be part of the 2016 Idaho Gives campaign, and are proud to be among the more than 600 organizations that will benefit from it.
