We believe creativity is a powerful force for social transformation.

Arts and culture change how we see and live in the world, by challenging us to think in new ways and opening up new possibilities of connection with our neighbors. That’s why we've been working to bring people-powered art to the places where our neighbors already gather, such as laundromats and other everyday community spaces.

For a decade, The Laundromat Project has worked with socially-minded artists. We have also invested in the creative potential of ALL our neighbors, including those who don't necessarily identify as artists. Our work aims to ignite and amplify the astounding creativity that’s already present in our communities.

This year is the 10-year anniversary of our Create Change program and we hope you will join our People-Powered Challenge—The Laundromat Project’s annual 10-day grassroots community campaign where we fundraise through the collective power of our friends, family, neighbors, and social networks to support people-powered art and strengthen our communities by getting supporters, new and old, to invest with us in our work.

Plesae consider making a small investment with a BIG impact. By donating $10 or more, you will help us reach our goal of raising $40,000 for continuing to make people-powered art across NYC possible in the next 10 years!

THANK YOU!!
