Salesian Youth Center/Villa Madonna School

The Salesian Youth Center(SYC) is an after school and summer program located on Villa Madonna School campus in the old Jefferson high school gymnasium and additional 7,000 sq ft education building. 

The Salesian Youth Center offers after-school (2:30pm -7pm) and summer camp(7:30am to 6pm) programs for year round dedication to Tampa’s children.    The SYC is open to young people ages 5 to 18 of all backgrounds and fosters character-building, service, and leadership initiatives that encourage kids to practice creativity, citizenship, and responsibility. Dedicated and trained staff and Salesian Sisters are present daily to guide children in activities that challenge them to excel while being open-minded and recognizing and respecting the good in themselves and in others.  

The Salesian Sisters, along with staff provided by their service partners, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, guide club members in daily activities that challenge the children to excel while recognizing and respecting the good in themselves and in others. To date, the Salesian Youth Center has served over 9,000 children.
