Stone Creek Church is a church of diversity. We believe in being multicultural, multiethnic, and multigenerational. Regardless of the background or culture from which we've come, we’re all loved by Christ. One of our highest priorities is to mobilize volunteers to help alleviate the effects of poverty and eradicate the cycles of marginalization in the neighborhood.

Within recent years, the crime rate in East Urbana has risen to an alarming rate. Along with the rise of violence and social injustice, there has been a steady decline in the economy and employment rate. As the public became aware of the tragic numbers and statistics in East Urbana, a movement began. In 2012, a group of people came together and started the Inspire Urbana Initiative. We began making a concentrated effort to bring about transformation in the city.

On Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25, we will be running in the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon. As we prepare for the race, we will be raising extra funds for the purchase of educational tools and equipment for Prairie Elementary School and to help improve venues for community service.
