Stepping Stone of San Diego has been helping save lives since 1976 as one of the nation’s only non-profit addiction recovery and mental health providers specializing in LGBTQ+ care.

Stepping Stone of San Diego has been at the forefront of providing a wide range of vital addiction recovery and health services to LGBTQ+ people, including residential treatment, outpatient programs, counseling, sober-living and housing assistance, HIV health and other health resources.

You can donate and start fundraising now! Give OUT starts officially May 1st and Give Out Day is officially May 30th. But donations and fundraising will be available now through July!

Anyone who has ever participated in Stepping Stone’s programming can tell you that this organization has an innate magic, reflective of the beautiful relationships and memories that are built here. Our staff are of the LGBTQ+ and recovery communities with cultural competency and lived-experience allowing us to connect and identify with our clients in ways other providers cannot.

Still, Stepping Stone transcends what happens in groups and meetings. What happens here ripples out and changes the lives of partners, spouses, parents, siblings, friends — the list is virtually inexhaustible.
