Snake River Animal Shelter Inc

The Snake River Animal Shelter is the only non-profit shelter in East Idaho and operates solely on grants, sponsors and donations. We provide a loving place for homeless animals to reside until adopted into their permanent homes, with no limit on the length of their stay. With your generous donations, we have helped over 6,500 animals not only find their forever families, but also receive the necessary medical attention including; emergency medical services, spay/neuters, up to date immunizations and quality care while they waited to find their forever homes!

Thereby SRAS has not only achieved a no-kill status itself but also supported other regional shelters in the region to lower their euthanasia rates. We aim to be the leader in our region through operational best practices and impactful programs to increase the number of animal lives saved.  For our dedication to integrity and ethical business practices, SRAS was awarded the Torch Award as Charity of the year in 2021 by the Better Business Bureau West and Pacific.
