Smartriverside

Since October 2006, Smart Riverside has provided over 7,000 Riverside families with free training and refurbished computers with Microsoft Office Software installed.

Smart Riverside's Digital Inclusion program utilizes Project Bridge (a gang intervention program) to mentor youth in skills to refurbish computers, collect e-waste and provide technical support for the families we serve.

It costs SmartRiverside about $100/PC to give away to each family.  All donations will go directly to this program to serve our low income families.  In addition to your donation, get a tax deduction and donate your e-waste and old vehicles which also helps defray our costs.

This program was recognized in 2012 as a world wide center of excellence and was one of 5 key indicators that enabled the City of Riverside to be named "Most Intelligent Community in the World for 2012"
