We know that to set children on the path to success they must have the cornerstone skill of reading firmly established.  However, in Milwaukee, reading levels rank far below the state average.  

SHARP Literacy engages over 5,000 students annually in grades 1-5 in Milwaukee’s most challenged neighborhoods.  We combine the power of the visual arts with the written word in ways that inspire children to achieve in the classroom and beyond.
