Save the Horses

On December 3, 2024 we celebrate #GAgives day on #GivingTuesday, the state’s largest giving event. 

Giving Tuesday kicks off the giving season. It's a time where we pause to contribute to charitable organizations that are meaningful to us.

This #GivingTuesday help us to feed and provide critical veterinary care for 135 horses and other animals of Save the Horses. 

Over 2,500 Lives Saved Thanks to Our Supporters
Since 1998 supporters & volunteers have rescued over 2,500 horses and other animals. These precious animals come to us from many situations, from abuse & neglect situations, to animal control referrals to owners experiencing illness or financial hardships. Save the Horses takes them in, provides nutritious feed and veterinary care. We give them a second chance at life.

With your help Save the Horses invests in training and rehabilitation of these precious souls to help them trust humans again.  The rescues are then placed in loving homes.  The ones that don't find homes live out their lives on our farm -- Save the Horses is a No Kill Shelter.

As an all volunteer organization, Save the Horses receives no federal or state funding and relies on continued tax deductible donations from our supporters to save these equines and other animals and keep them safe, healthy, and protected.
