Santa Ana Watershed Association of Rcds

Headquarted in Riverside, the Santa Ana Watershed Association (SAWA)is an environmental non-profit working to improve the Santa Ana River watershed and conserve local habitats and species. The main focus of SAWA is the removal of invasive species, such as Arundo donax, which is a significant problem throughout the watershed. Additionally, SAWA works on native habitat enhancement and the protection of endangered and threatened species. SAWA has emerged as a local leader in educating communities about the environment through educational programs and public outreach.
