Please consider SLAC on this day of giving. This year, our goal is to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of an additional Title I performance of our children’s show, PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL. Our Title I Arts Education Program provides a direct, first-hand experience of live theatre to students from Title I schools who frequently lack access to field trips and other kinds of arts exposure. Over the span of eight performances of our children's show in December, nearly 2,000 students are uplifted by the magic of theatre, at no cost to them or their respective schools. This program underlines the transformative power of theatre. Many children enter the theatre lethargic and quiet, rarely making eye contact. After the production they are lifted, inspired and energized, offering hugs as goodbyes.
