He was found abandoned in the backyard of an empty house and brought to Lancaster Animal Care and Control.  Carrie Grooms from Secondhand Animals put out a plea to help this starving, sweet rottie.  With the help of Secondhand Animals and others, and donations from wonderful people, Sloane was able to be released from the shelter and transported to Rottweiler Rescue of Los Angeles. 

He is now under our care, staying at the vet’s while he gets better. He is being fed several meals a day and getting lots of love and attention from the vet staff.  We rarely ask for help with funding for dogs but Sloane will most likely be at the vet’s a few weeks and we could sure use some help with his expenses. Please help us give Sloane the treatment and help he needs.
