River Valley Hockey Association

We are home to Wisconsin’s only outdoor hockey association and play at our classic outdoor rink just north of the Polk County Fairgrounds.  River Valley Hockey Association (RVHA) is a nonprofit, volunteer operated organization. RVHA families are committed by volunteering many hours to make this unique outdoor experience happen. 

The mission of RVHA is to create a fun and safe hockey environment that increases participation and improves skills while developing respect for others, self-confidence, and teamwork in our players.

RVHA youth practice on our classic hockey rink and spend countless hours before and after practice on our pleasure rink.  The pleasure rink is open to the public and members of our community come out and skate on our pleasure rink daily.

We are striving to maintain and build our organization while keeping the player fees the lowest you can find!  Our immediate goals are to maintain the buildings we have by replacing the roof on our zamboni shed.  We also plan to build two additional locker rooms and an indoor concession stand.  Although our roaring bonfire provides warmth to our visitors and fans, an indoor concession stand with an area to warm up would be a great improvement!
