Rescue Pals Inc

We are a licensed, nonprofit, foster-based, volunteer-run animal rescue based in Hall County Ga. 

There is a crisis in our area. County shelters in Georgia are overcrowded, which results in healthy, adoptable dogs and cats being euthanized purely for space. It's horrific and unimaginable, but it's happening weekly, daily even, throughout the state.

Our mission is to save as many dogs and cats as we can from county shelters, in order to help alleviate the overcrowding. We have no breed or condition restrictions, all we try to ensure is that they would make a loving addition to a great family. 

We are proud to announce that we have saved (as of 12/1/24) 107 pets so far, in our very first year of operation!

Once we pull a dog or cat - now a Pal! - from a shelter, they go into an approved foster home where we provide whatever they need financially, and the foster provides love and care. If they need veterinary care or extra training, we get it for them. As soon as they are healthy and ready, they are made available for adoption. Applicants must be approved through similar screening as our fosters. We want to be sure that our Pals go to loving, permanent homes and live happily ever after! 

We have pulled dogs and cats who were starved, injured, sick, mothers and newborns, orphans, seniors, lots of heartworm + dogs, and recently a bait dog who is the sweetest boy despite all he's been through. We also pull lots of perfectly healthy ones!

Of course all of this costs money. We recently had over $8000 in veterinary expenses due to unexpected emergencies. Thanks to the donations we've received from generous folks such as yourself, we have been able to keep a reserve ready to go for just such situations, so we didn't have to hesitate to get our Pals the care and treatment they needed. 

But those reserves are also quickly depleted when things like that happen. We are COMPLETELY reliant on donations to continue our mission of saving lives.
