Refuge International Corporation

Since its establishment, Refuge International has been involved in a variety of ministries, all with an objective of fostering self sufficiency.  We have operated a transition house for those suffering from addiction, we were heavily involved in relief efforts following hurricane Katrina, and in 2006, Refuge International established the Mission Point Resource Center in Catacamas, Olancho, Honduras.  The Resource Center has been our corporate focus since that time with the objective of training teachers of children, and in supporting youngsters to attend school.  Our latest initiative, starting at the beginning of 2012, is the operation of a dormitory called Refuge House in Catacamas.  The Refuge House will provide a christian environment for youngsters from remote areas to live and complete their high school and college level education.  Both of our projects are offering hope for a brighter future to children who would otherwise follow their parents into the same poverty their families have suffered for generations.  We believe that if we can give these youngsters an education, and the hope that comes form knowing Jesus Christ, they will be equipped to solve the economic challenges they face.

We are now partnered with the ZEDEKIAH PROJECT to form a network of ABOLITIONISTS.  We are working to ABOLISH slavery of children and their families to POVERTY, HUNGER, ABUSE, NEGLECT AND INDIFFERENCE.  We are reaching out to individuals to let them know that they can join the network of ABOLITIONIST for just $7 per month.
