$1,000 Goal

The Richardson Wireless Klub is the second-largest amateur radio club in the State of Texas and our club is comprised of over 350 amateur radio operators in Richardson, North Dallas, the surrounding communities, around Texas and even out of state, with a wide range of radio and technology skills and interests. We provide our members with many opportunities to increase knowledge and enjoyment of amateur radio through fun, fellowship and unique learning experiences. Our members include hams ranging from teenagers to radio pioneers in their 80s!

The Richardson Wireless Club operates six UHF/VHF wide coverage repeaters in the North Texas area. These repeaters are open for use by any licensed amateur radio operator. Modes presently supported are FM analog, Allstar Link, C4FM Digital, WIRES-X, and DMR (DMR-MARC).

The Richardson Wireless Klub has been an ARRL affiliated club since 1952 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our Needs

We currently are seeking monetary support in order that we may be able to upgrade our equipment for Portable/Emergency operations and add additional technical capabilities to our repeater sites that support the latest technological advancements.
