WHO WE ARE:  

The RCHSBBA is an all-volunteer group that was established in January 2006 as a 501(c)3 (EIN - 20-3083038).

OUR MISSION: 

• Promote, further and advance the development of instrumental music, encourage participation and stimulate interest among the students in the school system of Rappahannock County, VA, specifically Rappahannock County High School (RCHS) and its feeder schools.
• Provide support to the general instrumental music program of RCHS.
• Recognize outstanding achievement in musicianship; encourage high standards of learning in music; provide scholarship benefits to graduating students of RCHS.
• Do all that is necessary and proper for the accomplishment of these purposes, to the highest degree of efficiency, and in full cooperation with the administration and instrumental music staff of RCHS.
• RCHSBBA is organized and operated exclusively for non-profit, charitable purposes.  No part of any net earnings shall benefit any member(s) of RCHSBBA, other than students.
• All funds raised by RCHSBBA shall be used for expenses and activities at the sole discretion of the Executive Board.

This year the band has been very busy.

We have competed in many band competitions around the state and placed in many of these events.

The band performed at most of the high school football games halftime shows. 

Their Fall, Winter & Spring Concert was a huge success and we can't wait till next year to perform on stage again.

We were also able to attend Temple University and performed at their university at a clinician and participated in their masterclasses.

 We also had the amazing opportunity to perform on Easter Sunday at the Richmond International Speedway in front of fans.

Our goal is to raise money for some new instruments for the many students that have shown interest over the last year to either learn a new instrument or the rising students.  

~ A $200 donation will pay for one band competition.

~ A $50 donation will pay for one pair of shoes.
