Do you remember that sense of freedom you felt when you turned 18? Many of us had support from at least one or more family members. They created a supportive foundation for us to be able to dream about our future and make plans to help us succeed in whatever we want to do. Also, turning 18 was a celebration! Our friends and families gathered to celebrate our accomplishments and plans for the future. 

The harsh reality for our teens in foster care waiting to be adopted and turning 18 this year, is that they don't have the family support that they so badly desire. Many of them have been on the heart gallery for years, waiting for their turn for someone to say "YES, We want to adopt YOU!" But, their turn hasn't come yet. BUT, we will not stop advocating for their turn to hear YES! 

Turning 18 is a big milestone and we want these kids to know that we love and support them!

That is why we are planning DREAM BIG 18, the most epic 18th birthday party for our 25+ teens! 

YOU can come alongside us as we celebrate them! This is a special HOPE building event, this will be a private event for the youth turning 18 and their adoption specialists or DCFS staff. We want each child to relax in their own way and enjoy the evening without any pressure! 

We will start off the evening with a party bus to our event location, a full red carpet experience with photographers, live DJ, amazing food from one of our favorite restaurants, and some surprises throughout the night! 

We want to be intentional with each person attending to make sure they know that they are valued, wanted, and seen! We are hoping to have a small 'job fair' at the event to allow them to make connections, ask questions and find out what they might want to do as they make their next steps into adulthood.  We want to give them every option to help them make an informed decision about their future!  

Dream Big 18 is going to be unlike any other event this year, But we need your help to make it happen. 

We are hoping to raise $10,000 for NWA Gives on Thursday April 3rd. We would LOVE your help as we raise money to cover the costs of this event! 

Our goal is to continue to think outside the box, implore the Lord for new breath and vision, and to fiercely fight in 2025 like never before to make sure waiting kids find families.
