To provide mentorship, encouragement, and empowerment to young women of color by building confidence around education, social awareness, and self-esteem.

Description

Phenomenal She is a community based non-profit organization that lives out its mission by providing programming three days a week in Federal Way and Des Moines. Phenomenal She's Mentoring Program provides a positive environment to young women in the program. Phenomenal She's goals are to increase school-to-life success pathways by providing workshops, resources, and supports that are engaging and relevant to the young women's lives. The following programs intended to create pathways for success for participants are as follows: Mental and/or Behavior Health Counseling with a culturally relevant Licensed Therapist; Academic Support and Engagement with a culturally relevant S.T.E.M. tutor; and Life Skills and Development Workshops that include Financial Literacy, Banking Basics, Resume' Writing, Culture, Race, and more. In addition to the programs offered, Phenomenal She also matches their participants with a mentor.
