For over 40 years, Peace Education Program has empowered Louisville’s youth to resolve conflict without violence, foster respect across differences, and become leaders in their schools and communities. Through evidence-based programs like conflict resolution workshops, peer mediation training, and the Navigators mentoring initiative, we reach more than 4,500 youth annually—primarily in neighborhoods most impacted by poverty and violent crime.

Louisville is facing a crisis: youth violence is rising, particularly in historically underserved zip codes. Peace Ed is here to interrupt that cycle. Our interactive, trauma-informed programs teach youth practical skills to handle conflict constructively, reducing violence and helping young people see their value—and the value in others.

A gift of $50 provides one young person with a two-hour conflict resolution workshop at a Louisville community center, equipping them with tools to resolve conflict peacefully.

A gift of $500 supports one youth through a full year of our Navigators mentoring program, offering consistent guidance, life skills, and leadership development.

A gift of $1,000 purchases 10 tickets to our annual gala, giving youth participants the opportunity to attend, celebrate their growth, and share their stories.
