Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon

A nonprofit organization

We all want to live in a community where families who work hard can be sure of having enough food to eat, and have a pathway to realizing their dreams. Oregonians are rightly proud of our rich agricultural history, and our world-famous food and culinary talent. Unfortunately, not everyone in our community shares in this bounty -- more than 14% of our families are at risk of hunger, including 1 in 4 of our kids.

Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon works statewide to connect struggling families with immediate nutrition support through SNAP, school-based and summer meal programs. This summer, we connected at-risk kids with over 80,000 meals during the summer break. We also believe strongly in the need to advocate for systemic change, to not only lift our struggling families out of poverty, but keep them there with living wage jobs, affordable childcare and housing.

You can join us! Become a Partner for a Hunger-Free Oregon by donating, volunteering, and helping us raise awareness within your community.
