Pacific Art League of Palo Alto

A nonprofit organization

21 donors

Founded in 1921 as "The Palo Alto Art Club," the Pacific Art League began as a community of and for artists and soon became a valuable addition to the San Francisco Peninsula's cultural life.

We are a membership organization, guided and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are also long-time members. We are assisted by many volunteers who bring expertise and dedication to a wide variety of projects.

Members frequently comment that the Pacific Art League is more than just a place to exhibit art and take classes. Rather, it is a community of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and skills who come together to express themselves through art.

We offer:

  • Fine arts classes that enroll more than 1,600 students a year.
  • Exhibition opportunities that display over 7,000 pieces of artwork annually.
  • After-school classes and summer art camps for children and teens.
  • Lectures, workshops, and special events.
  • Opportunities to volunteer and meet other artists and art lovers!
