Olympic Community of Health

A nonprofit organization

Certified as one of nine Accountable Communities of Health, Olympic Community of Health serves as the convener for the three-county region of Clallam, Jefferson, and Kitsap counties and the seven sovereign Tribal nations that span the region. OCH brings together partners to tackle health issues no single sector or Tribe can tackle alone. OCH challenges local partners to rethink the way health is addressed, ultimately fostering a region of healthy people, thriving communities.

We are ultimately working towards a healthier, more equitable three county region by bringing together regional partners on local health issues like stigma of substance use disorder, access to the full spectrum of care, and addressing local determinants of health.

By supporting Olympic Community of Health, you are strengthening a whole network of local organizations, Tribes, community groups, and health leaders. A few projects that would benefit by your financial support:

  • OCH sponsors local healthcare professionals and community members to attend various trainings including trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and health equity.
  • OCH meets with groups across the Olympic region to raise awareness and understanding about the stigma of substance use disorder at a local level, as well as discusses opportunities for action and change.
  • OCH builds connections between primary care providers, behavioral health providers, social service agencies, Tribes, and community-based organizations to fill gaps in healthcare. By supporting OCH, you help bring to life health systems that are more person-centered, meaning they are created with you in mind, addressing physical, behavioral, social health in a coordinated environment.
