The need for a sustainable blood in North America is great. Every day thousands of life saving surgeries get postponed due to the lack of blood on hand. 30% of the blood supply comes from High Schools and Colleges. That means the blood supply drops 30% during the summer months when school is not in session. Music Saves Lives educates youth about the importance of donating blood on a regular basis, not just during the school year. Just one blood donation can save up to 3 lives!

Thousands of people are diagnosed with a marrow deficient disease every year. Every day there are many people who die because they were unable to find a matching marrow donor. By registering for the marrow program you can save someone's life. Unlike your blood type, matching someone's marrow type is DNA/genetic based. You have a greater chance in winning the lottery than matching someone's marrow type.
