Mother Hull Home

Mother Hull Home has been caring for people in the Kearney community for over 130 years.  Mother Hull is owned by the Woman's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU), which was the most active group in Kearney to care for the poor during the last two decades of the 1800's and first part of 1900.  Mrs. Nancy Hull, after whom our Mother Hull Home is named, became treasurer of the WCTU in 1882.  Because of the tremendous amount of work given toward the poor, and no doubt because Mrs. Hull's husband was a physician, the WCTU began the first hospital in Kearney.  Through the years Mother Hull has advanced from a boarding house to a hospital, and to the 58 bed skilled nursing facility we are today.  Those who work at Mother Hull Home continue to strive to care for those in need, just as those before us did.  We have a passion, that is driven by our history, to care for those who come into our home in the most compassionate way.  With God as our guide, and with His strength and wisdom, we hope to continue to have a positive impact in the Kearney area and provide the type of care that "Mother Hull" herself would be proud of.
