OUR PURPOSE 

Our purpose is to enhance quality of place in the City of Longview and surrounding areas by proactively seeking multiple avenues of revenue generation to support, improve, enhance, and expand the park system and programs maintained and provided by the Longview Parks and Recreation Department.

OUR FOCUS

People: The Foundation strives to support the goal of providing high quality services to everyone. Your donations and support help Longview Parks and Recreation deliver better services, bigger events, and scholarship opportunities to families and youth in need throughout our community.

Parks:  Longview Parks and Recreation maintains 645 acres of parkland, 18 parks, 23 playgrounds, a golf course, and 7 sports complexes and facilities where people meet, play, exercise, and make lifelong memories. Our goal is to support Longview Parks and Recreation in their efforts to preserve and improve these spaces that define our community. 

Programs:  Longview Parks and Recreation programs provide a wide variety of learning and fitness opportunities to our community members of all ages and abilities. Your support allows these programs to thrive, and ensures they are offered at low to no-cost to continue to serve those most in need.
