Long Island Childrens Museum

The Long Island Children’s Museum (LICM), located in Garden City, is an institution dedicated to providing culture, art and educational experiences to children and their families across Long Island.  At the Museum, children master skills and uncover passions through the busy work of play that will stay with them throughout their lives. The future is always present here!

LICM’s community comes together in one space to foster the growth of our next generation of artists, scientists, educators, entrepreneurs and model citizens. With hands-on materials and interactive programs, the Museum provides opportunities for all children to explore new ideas and the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. 

Through its mission, the Museum connects all our communities’ children, and those who care for them, to one another and to a life of wonder, imagination and exploration. Here, children discover their passions and their relationship to the world we share.  LICM believes that children learn best by seeing, touching and doing and are motivated to learn when they are having fun.
