Creating Tomorrow’s Healthy Kids - For over twenty years, the community has walked hand in hand with Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital to create tomorrow’s healthy kids. The critical funds raised through donations allow the hospital to provide advanced medical care through cutting-edge technology, innovative research and world-class patient care for pediatric patients and their families.

Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in the heart of the Inland Empire, serving the 1.2 million children of San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo and Mono Counties. In 2013, nearly 15,000 children received care in our inpatient services, and over 160,000 through outpatient facilities.

Illness and injury know no boundaries. Many of the children we serve come from families who are unable to cover their medical expenses. Yet, because of the generosity of our community, we are privileged to be able to care for them. More than ever, we are committed to providing a lasting presence in the Inland Empire. Children have special needs that are different from adults. While they are still growing they need unique medical care designed just for them. At Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, all of our 275 beds are dedicated to caring for them.

Dedicated Staff - We offer parents the comfort and assurance that their child is receiving the highest level of medical care available. Our medical team has more than a hundred pediatricians, pediatric surgeons and sub-specialists to treat everything from broken bones to disabilities and life-threatening diseases. In addition to our doctors, we have more than 1,200 nurses, child life specialists and other staff who are dedicated to the health and healing of children. Together they provide a family-focused environment backed by state-of-the-art care.

Reaching Out to the Community – We are actively involved in child advocacy through the sponsorship and presentation of community education programs, projects and support groups for children and their families. Specialized services include Safe Kids Coalition, Children’s Day, Youth Alternative Screening Program and Camp Good Grief.
