Lexington Public Library Foundation

A nonprofit organization

49 donors

In May 1997, the Lexington Public Library Foundation was established to seek funds that would enhance the quality and range of library services provided to the citizens of Fayette County.

For 15 years, the Lexington Public Library Foundation has conducted successful fundraising events which provided funds for the Library to obtain and equip a new Outreach van and StoryTime Bus and develop a Mobile App (lexpublib2go). The Foundation has provided funding for the Digital Studio, Kentucky Room and more. Donations make it possible for the Lexington Public Library to create innovative new programs, capital improvements, and expand upon existing services.

In short, the Foundation fulfills the mission and vision of the Lexington Public Library through gifts like yours!
