Kilgoris Project

The Kilgoris Project (TKP) partners with a Maasai community in rural Kenya to educate and feed 1,775 school-age children. We work hand-in-hand with local leaders and families to operate schools, provide daily food, and create sustainable businesses that help support our schools. We operate 12 schools on six campuses—six preschools and six primary schools and serve 540,000 meals every year—including a nutritious breakfast and lunch every school day to our students. A Kenyan team of more than 90 leaders, teachers, cooks, janitors and other staff members bring education, love and hope to students. 

 Through our work we’ve witnessed big and small changes in rural Kenya—students starting school at the right age and staying there through challenges; improved health outcomes for our entire student body; students receiving critical and timely health care treatment; school and community gardens flourishing; joyful community church services including our students singing and worshipping, and so much more.
