The need for recreational programs for young people with disabilities in our community is enormous. You can help by donating to KEEN Greater DC.

KEEN Greater DC-Baltimore is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that provides free of charge sports and recreation programs to children and young adults with disabilities in the greater DC and Baltimore areas. KEEN currently serves over 500 young people with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. KEEN Greater DC offers 30 programs in Montgomery County, MD, Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, Arlington, VA and Fairfax County, VA. KEEN athletes enjoy swimming, soccer, tennis, music, tae kwon do, basketball, bowling, dance and gym-based sports programs. At all program sessions athletes are paired one-to-one with a volunteer coach, ensuring that every child receives individualized attention and can participate at their level of ability.
