Joyce Kilmer Middle School Pta

We are the Kilmer Parent Teacher Association (PTA)! We strive for 100% of our parents joining the PTA - and every year, the vast majority do!

Almost 100% of the PTA projected revenue comes from donations and memberships.  The PTA supports KMS students in the following manner:

• Field trip transportation for all field trips (including the 8th grade trip to King’s Dominion).
• Activities such as Geography Bee, Word Masters, and Band Concert Registration fees.
• After School Clubs such as Cougars’ Den, Math Counts, Science Olympiad, Odyssey of the Mind, and Robotics. 
• Landscaping and light bulbs for Smart Boards: these are costs the county used to pay but now must come out of the Kilmer budget.
• The Paw Print, the Kilmer Newspaper: written, edited, and published by KMS students.
