Imhotep Llc

Founded in 2018 by Bonnie Marino, Imhotep is on a mission to empower child trafficking victims to build a better future. With holistic and survivor-centered approaches, Imhotep helps the under-serviced population of child trafficking victims; boys.  

At Imhotep, we envision “a world where exploited boys are provided the resources and opportunities to live a healthy and thriving life”.

Imhotep LLC is based in the Houston area and we are looking to open transitional homes for millions of trafficked boys around the world. Starting with Guatemala, Refugio Fenix de Imhotep, we plan to open a refuge for 250 boys aged 6 to 12 years old. 

We believe that those of the under-serviced population of boys that are child trafficking victims should have access to necessary resources for education and opportunities that will create a thriving future for both them and their communities. 

With this belief, we aim to create a world where children are free, safe, aware, and empowered - to build their own future, to write their own story.
