Things continue to be busy for the animals of Hood County!  Last year H.A.N.D was able to help over 1000 animals in a variety of ways.  Our vaccination clinics have grown and increased, we held two stand alone microchip clinics and continue to help spay and neuter community animals and pets.   The harder times of the economy have made our services even more vital to our area.

We have continued to transport animals to rescues, volunteers have fostered numerous animals, including a group of Parvo puppies, medical fosters, helped a shelter get sick animals in quarantine until they were ready for adoption and continued to help lower the number of feral cats and kittens by getting them the medical treatments they need, spayed/neutered and sent to shelters to hopefully be adopted.

Donations and our dedicated volunteers is what makes all of this work possible.
