Friends of the Hopkinton Seniors

After operating in the basement of Town Hall for over a decade offering limited services, the new Mayhew Street facility was completed in October 2006. I see lives of senior citizens from Hopkinton and surrounding communities greatly enhanced not only physically (meals and programs) but perhaps more importantly socially and emotionally. It should make all residing in Hopkinton proud to know that not only the needs of students in town are taken care of with great schools, sports fields, etc. but our elders as well. Many of today's Hopkinton senior citizens have resided in the community for decades, some all their lives, and deserve the simple pleasures and safe environment the facility affords to all who enter its doors.
