Featuring a world-class museum, Giant Screen Theater, and 65 acres of outdoor adventures, Fernbank is Atlanta’s Science and Nature Experience.

Today, we remain resilient, adaptive, and ready to usher in a new era of growth at Fernbank. As exciting behind-the-scenes plans take place to modernize the guest experience, we will continue a 30-year tradition of presenting world-class exhibits and cinematographic experiences featuring the latest in global science. Daring space odysseys, bold adventures in color, live animal survival strategies, and Viking quests are all on the horizon for every age. Cherished seasonal exhibits and dynamic family programming will continue to expand to meet the needs of our growing audience. Beyond this, we will educate (and Wow!) students with new and refreshed school programs—on campus, virtually, and in the community with Fernbank on the Go.
