Fauquier Alliance for Youth (FAY) is proud to partner with Fauquier Reaches for Excellence in School Health (FRESH) to raise funds for the Fauquier County chapter of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library! This acclaimed literacy program gifts free books to children during their most critical years of literacy development, birth to age five.
For $13.20, you can sponsor a child to receive a free book each month for an entire year!
The State of Virginia's education budget covers 50% of the annual expenses associated with administering the Imagination Library program, while local affiliate organizations are responsible for raising the additional 50%. The Dollywood Foundation oversees program administration, using raised funds to purchase books (at drastically reduced rates) and mailing copies to children each month.

Fauquier Alliance for Youth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports youth-based organizations in Fauquier County. FAY's mission is to help ensure that Fauquier County is a community with opportunities for youth to be a part of a positive family environment, experience a meaningful childhood, be constructively engaged and grow into healthy, contributing adults. FAY seeks to strengthen collaboration and communication among families, individuals, schools, community based organizations, faith organizations, businesses and government and to serve as a catalyst for creating new programs and services to address emerging needs.
