Established in 1964, the Enrichment Services Program (ESP) is a nonprofit Community Action Agency that annually provides more than 10,000 low-income families and children in the Chattahoochee Valley with the tools and resources to become self-sufficient.

Like many other Community Action Agencies across the nation, Enrichment Services Program was formed from President Lyndon B. Johnson’s War on Poverty and the advocacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Established in 1964, ESP operated as the Community Action Development Committee and later Lower Chattahoochee Community Action Agency when incorporated in 1965. For more than 50 years, we are continuing to help people, change lives, and build families in eleven counties and two states.

Enrichment Services Program's mission is to empowers families to thrive through quality education, services, and partnerships.  Our vision is that every family is thriving and engaged in the community.

ESP is committed to increasing the awareness of the impact of poverty and implementing strategies for reducing it. We identify and remove barriers to achieve family stability and promote interdependency. Turning hope into reality, ESP motivates residents toward a desirable future and encourages them to become a healthy contributor to the life of our community.
