For over 20 years, East Valley Family Services (EVFS) has been a lifeline for thousands of families in Southern Nevada—families who have nowhere else to turn in their darkest moments. But today, we’re facing a crisis of our own. Without urgent support, EVFS may be forced to shut down, leaving countless individuals and families without the help they desperately need.

This is about more than programs—it’s about people. It’s about the single mom who comes to us after losing her job, the grandparent struggling to raise their grandchildren, the hungry child who can’t focus in school, and the family on the brink of separation who just need someone to believe in them.

Family Resource Center

Imagine being a parent, staring at an empty pantry, and wondering how you’ll feed your children tonight. Our Family Resource Center provides food, utility assistance, job referrals, and so much more. For many, it’s their last hope before homelessness or hunger takes over. Your donation could be the reason a child doesn’t go to bed hungry.

Differential Response Team

Every day, we meet families hanging by a thread. Parents struggling to provide a safe home, fearful that Child Protective Services will take their children. We step in to keep these families together, offering the guidance and support they need to avoid separation. Without this program, many children would be lost to the system.

Peer Parent Advocates

Picture a mother standing alone in a courtroom, overwhelmed by fear and shame. Our Peer Parent Advocates walk beside parents like her, providing support and helping them rebuild their lives. Because of this program, parents get second chances—and children get to come home.

Senior Respite Program

Grandparents raising their grandchildren are unsung heroes, often sacrificing everything to give these kids a loving home. But they’re exhausted. Our Senior Respite Program gives these caregivers time to rest and care for themselves, something they rarely get to do. Your generosity provides these caregivers the strength to keep going.

Clothing Closet

Imagine being a young adult preparing for your first job interview but not having the proper clothes to wear. Our Clothing Closet provides dignity and confidence, offering everything from baby clothes to professional attire for adults. Your donation helps someone take their first step toward a better future.

Food Pantry

The heartbreak of an empty refrigerator is something no family should endure. Our food pantry is often the difference between families eating dinner or going to bed hungry.
