Decatur Arts Alliance

The Decatur Arts Alliance (DAA) is a nonprofit partnership of artists, business owners, and residents dedicated to supporting and cultivating the arts in the city of Decatur. The DAA manages public art in Downtown Decatur, and encourages a collaborative environment to coordinate the interests of artists, gallery owners, theater groups, dance groups and performance venues within Decatur to develop the city as a strong arts community.

DAA sponsors the Decatur Arts Festival,  The Book As Art Exhibition, YEA!(Young Emerging Artists), Oakhurst Porchfest, the Decatur Artway sculpture series.  Other projects and initiatives include #lookupdecatur street signs, Secret Doors Decatur, the Buildings, Art & Brew pub crawl, outdoor mural commissions and a busking program.
