To each individual cat, dog, rabbit or bird, the simple act of rescue that takes him from homelessness to home is lifesaving.

But rescuing one animal does not stop the next from becoming homeless. This is why Dakin has a long commitment to ending animal homelessness where it starts.

Dakin's renowned prevention programs deliver pet food to people in need, offer sliding scale behavior and training services, and provide more than 10,000 free or low-cost surgeries each year through the efforts of Dakin's Community Spay/Neuter Clinic.
