Diabetes Association of Atlanta Inc

Since 1952, DAA has served the local metro Atlanta community through diabetes education, resources, and support. DAA is an organization that works to fulfill unmet needs for those affected or at risk for diabetes and its complications. Over 70% of DAA's clients live at or below the poverty level and have limited access to diabetes prevention and management services

Our mission is to promote community awareness and healthy living to prevent and manage diabetes through innovative community programs

COVID-19 Relief Programs offer at no cost:

1. Medical Assistance Program - Provide a monthly allotment for diabetes medicine, insulin, strips, and additional tools. 
2. Food Delivery - Healthy food delivery at partner locations and pop up stores
3. Telehealth Diabetes Self-Management Services - Online classes to empower people to navigate self-management
4. W.O.W. Wednesday - Monthly virtual education open to all for essential diabetes prevention and management topics.
