Creekside Recreational Therapy Services

Creekside Recreational Therapy Services (Creekside RTS) is a small, volunteer-run, donation-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been providing Recreational Therapy and Wellness Programs, information and referral services and advocating for people of all ages with and without disabilities of all types encompassing cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), (including those who are on the Autism Spectrum), and other mental illnesses and their families since 2009.

Creekside RTS serves people in Carteret, Craven, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow and Pamlico Counties and other areas throughout Eastern North Carolina. Creekside Recreational Therapy Services partners with many different community organizations to meet the needs of people throughout eastern North Carolina.

Our goal is to be able to provide affordable inclusive and therapeutic programs for people of all ages and ability levels throughout eastern NC. 

Creekside RTS works to meet the needs of people with and without disabilities throughout eastern NC by providing Breakfast with Santa, an Inclusive Easter Egg Hunt, Camp SMILE (an Inclusive Therapeutic Summer Day Camp for children who have Autism, their siblings and other children with and without special needs), SibShops (interactive workshops for siblings of kids who have special needs), Family Movie Nights, Lego Club, Parent Support Groups and Respite Days, and other programs.

Creekside Recreational Therapy Services is a small, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and we rely on donations from generous donors like you.  All of the funds raised will be used to serve children, adolescents, adults and their families.
