Cool Girls Inc

Cool Girls is a local non-profit that empowers girls living in Atlanta's most vulnerable communities through an after-school program, mentoring, summer camps, and college scholarships. Cool Girls provides life skills training and support to help girls make positive choices to achieve academic success and lead healthy lives. 

Due to Covid-19, all in-person programs and activities have been cancelled. In this time of uncertainty, we understand the importance of community and connectedness. Through a variety of virtual programs, we aim to stay connected and continue to empower and offer support to our girls (and their families), our volunteers and the entire Cool Girls community. These programs include; a virtual book club, weekly workouts on Instagram Live, and a series of virtual life skills sessions. 

 While the primary mission and focus of Cool Girls is to provide life skills programming to our Cool Girls participants, we firmly believe that empowerment is only possible when the basic needs of families are securely met. In addition to our virtual program opportunities, we felt it pertinent to also offer financial support to Cool Girls families most impacted by Covid-19.

 With your support, we will help address the growing financial burdens of our most vulnerable families. Here are some ways your gift may be used:

• $ 1,000 – will support our efforts to continue providing quality programming to 200 girls 
• $ 500 – will help us expand summer programming opportunities 
• $ 250 –will provide support to a family of 4 impacted by food insecurity.
• $ 100 – will help us expand curriculum on topics such as grief, trauma, and building resiliency in youth
• $    50 – will assist a high school junior or senior with college application and standardized test fees.
• $    25 - will provide one Cool Girl with a toiletry kit (includes much needed feminine hygiene products).
