CPR takes in hundreds of dogs and puppies annually and changes their lives for the better. We provide them with safe & comfortable shelter, medical care, enrichment toys, and quality food as we ready them for their adoptive families. Every dog and puppy in our care gets all of their age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, age-appropriate heartworm testing/ prevention, flea & tick prevention, and spayed or neutered. In addition, many of the dogs and puppies that come to us require additional medical care such as heartworm treatment, surgery for orthopedic issues, dental work to treat issues resulting from poor nutrition and aging, and more. These extraordinary medical needs are very expensive and we are extremely appreciative that our supporters make it possible for us to take in dogs & puppies regardless of the additional medical care they need. CPR also spays/neuters many dogs at no cost or low cost for members of our community to help reduce dog overpopulation and improve the quality of life for those dogs and their families. 

Adoption donations cover a portion of this care, but they can't cover all expenses. Donations made by our supporters fill in the gaps and allow us to provide any and all care necessary as we change the lives of so many deserving dogs & puppies.
